Good mead, slow shipping

I ordered the Sparkling Orange Blossom Mead and it was quite good, very crisp and not too sweet. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was simple. Absolutely loved the Hawaiian Lehua!

Meadery Tour was informative

My partner and I booked the Meadery Tour Tickets online for a weekend visit. The booking process was straightforward on their site. When we arrived, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself covered the Methode Champenoise process in detail and we got to see where they age the mead. We also did the Varietal Mead Tasting Flight afterwards, which was included. The Sparkling Buckwheat Mead was a standout. The only minor thing was that the tasting room got a bit crowded later in the day, but it didn't detract much from the overall experience. Learned a lot and enjoyed the samples.

Heidrun is really different. It's sparkling and dry, more like a champagne or dry white wine, where Rabbit's Foot tends to have more traditional, often sweeter, meads. Depends on what you're looking for.

Yeah, they ship to most states actually. You can check on their site with your zip code, but I've had it delivered to Austin before.

I think they list all the states they can't ship to. If yours isn't on that list, you're probably good to go. It's alcohol so there are always some weird state laws.
